Week 13 notes and milestones:
State records: Brian Lemelle of Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg) broke 2 of Central Catholic's Kevin Guylas's state records in the past 2 weeks.  Lemelle, who is still playing (13-0) now has 250 catches for 4,361 yards and 36 td catches in his career.  Guylas, who still holds the state record for career td catches with 54 had 247 catches for 4,201 yards in his career (2008-11).
Parkland: Parkland's Jarel Elder rushed for 214 yards and scored 3 touchdowns vs Delaware Valley to up his season totals to 1,379 yards rushing and 24 total td's.  Elder now has 49 career td's which ties him with Larrame Furman (P'Burg), Josh Snyder (NW), Don Diorio (Pius X) and Eric Fiore (White) on the all-time area list in 31st place.  Tim Baranek became the first Trojan to rush and pass for 1,000 yards in a season.  Baranek has 1,090 yards rushing and 1,171 yards passing for the year.  Parkland has 11 defensive/special team touchdowns this year.
Central Catholic: Colin McDermott of Central Catholic rushed for 260 yards and 3 td's to up his District 11 leading totals to 2,742 yards and 35 td's.  McDermott's career totals stand at 5,922 yards rushing and 79 td's.  His yardage total moves him into 3rd place all-time in the area (4th in District 11), moving him ahead of former Trojan Austin Scott (5,802 yards-2000-02).  McDermott trails only James Mungro of ESS and Cody Remaley of Northern Lehigh in the area and Zach Barket of Schuylkill Haven in the District.
Pen Argyl: Mike Racciato of Pen Argyl now has 1,412 yards rushing this year to move up to 4th all-time at the school for a single season.  He had 2 carries for 50 yards vs Wyoming Area before getting injured.  Racciato moved ahead of Scott Saylor (1,386 in 1984) and Woody Petchel's senior year total of 1,411 yards (1971).  Junior, Mike Depaolo has 77 carries for 453 yards and 8 td's in the 3 playoff games.
Catasauqua/Northampton: Zack Bradley of Catasauqua threw for 198 yards vs Northampton to end the year with 2,133 yards passing.  Bradley broke Jordy Miller's 2002 single season school record of 2,021 yards.  Teammate's Paryss Marshall and Alex Parker each had a td catch and are tied for the school's single season record with 13 td catches each.  Marshall finished with 44 catches for 898 yards.  The 44 catches is second in school history behind only Matt Andrews, who had 46 in 1996.  Marshall's 898 yards places him in 3rd at the school behind Andrews 952 yards and Kyle Lahue' s 918 yards (2004).  Parker's final totals were 37 catches for 719 yards, good enough for 5th and 4th place respectively at the school just behind head coach Tom Falzone.  Ra'Von Burton finished with 1,610 rushing yards to move into 3rd place all-time at the school.  He trails only the Pendry brothers.  Ethan had 1,784 yards in 1999 and Nate had 1,695 yards in 1997.  Nick Cook of Northampton holds the K-Kids single season record for passing yards in a season with 2,148 yards.  Cook threw 2 td passes againt Catasauqua to finish the year with 17.  He tied Eric Spadt (1993) and Ryan Mickley (2006) for 2nd place at the school for a single season.  Cook is junior and Spadt and Mickley both did the feat as sophomore's.  Craig Muschko holds the record with 18 td passes set in 2003 as a senior.  Kyle George caught 4 passes for 31 yards and a td to finish the year with 45 catches for 939 yards and 10 td catches.  All three are school records.  Tommy Rohn (1998) and Jeff Pammer (2002) previously held the single season record for receptions with 42 each.  Ryan Flamisch (1996) held the reception yardage record with 814 yards and Vance Szabo had 9 td catches in 1993.
East Stroudsburg South/Stroudsburg Altique Mosley of Stroudsburg rushed for 302 yards against East Stroudsburg South to break 2 school records.  Joe Thomas previously held the single game record with 285 yards set in 1997 vs Coughlin.  Mosley broke Artie Owens' 41 year old single season rushing yardage record.  Owens had 2,061 yards in 1971 and Mosley ended the year with 2,114 yards.  Just like George from Northampton, Donovan McDonald a junior from Stroudsburg ended the year with three single season school records.  McDonald had 43 catches for 766 yards and 10 td catches breaking Tom Perry's school records.  McDonald's quarterback Mike Nikorak (sophomore) threw for 1,240 yards and 13 td's this year.  His yardage ties him for 3rd place at the school for a single season with Pat Rinehard (1986).  Nikorak's 13 td passes is one short of the school record held by Steve McCormick (1982).  McCormick had 14 td passes on only 36 completions.  East Stroudsburg's junior Niko Petrone ended the year with 1,800 rushing yards and 25 total td's.  He ranks 3rd all-time at the school for a single season in both category's behind James Mungro's junior and senior totals (1995-96).  ESS qb Tyler McLaughlin threw for 1,417 yards and 11 td's this year.  His yardage total places him in 5th place at the school behind Pleasant Valley's head coach Jim Terwilliger who threw for 1,520 yards in 2001.
Other: Easton's Brad Wilkins threw for 197 yards and 5 td passes against Phillipsburg to finish his junior year with 1,270 yards and 19 td passes.  His 5 td passes in the game and 19 for the season, ties him with Josh Baltz for the school record in each category.  Baltz threw 19 td passes in 2006 including 5 td's against Beca.  I now have final stats for Allen, Bangor, Beca, B. Mount, Dieruff, Emm, Lib, Nazareth, N.
