Bubba Carter's Lackawanna ReportCarbondale (5-3) did something a team from Carbondale hadn't
done since 1941 - BEAT Dunmore. Carbondale defeated Dunmore
(3-5) 28-0. Carbondale's last win in the series came in a 7-6 win in 1941.
Dunmore had won the past 19 contests by a combined score of 599 to 65. In the
win, Zach Lasavage set a Carbondale school record for rushing in a single game
with 339 yards.
Lasavage scored 3 TD's on runs of 40, 72 and 68 yards. The other Carbondale
score came on a Steven Moro 1 yard run.
Dunmore leads the all-time series 27-4-4.
West Scranton (6-2) knocked off Honesdale
(2-6) 46-13 behind Tom Ogonowski's 192 yards and 3 TD's rushing (6, 19 and 63
yard runs).
Other West scores: Hubie Graham (26 yard pass from Matt McGloin), Asa Lucas
(39 yard INT return), Mark Bidwell ((17 yard pass from McGloin) and Pat

Don Loftus added 2 TD runs in a winning effort (29 and 13 yards)
Montrose scores: Jared Fowler (27 yard run) and Dominick Lucenti (49 yard
run). Fowler rushed for 107 yards.
Prep leads the all-time series 4-0.
Scranton (5-2) defeated North Pocono (6-2)
35-14. Kawon Shell led Scranton with 149 yards and 1 TD rushing (3 yard
run).
Other Scranton scores: A.J. McKenna (1 yard run), Michael Weeks (35 yard pass
from McKenna), Corey Suhow (68 yard INT return) and Suhow (18 yard pass from
McKenna).
McKenna ended the game with 142 yards passing.
North Pocono scores: Bill Heard (5 yard pass from Joe Richards) and Tom Snyder
(1 yard run).
North Pocono leads the all-time series 7-6 but Scranton has won the last 5
meetings.
Lakeland (6-2) led 48-0 at the half and won 48-6 over winless
Western Wayne (0-8). Lakeland was led by Louis Gonsauls (115
yards and 2 TD's rushing) and Craig Chopko (108 yards and 3 TD's rushing).

Lackawanna Trail (6-2) blasted Old Forge
(5-3) 48-0 behind Colin Dwyer's 160 yards passing.
