Delaware Valley (5-0) used a 40 point 2nd half to pull away from Scranton Prep (3-2).  Halftime score 21-18 DV.  Final score 61-25 DV.

 
Frankie Colletta led DV with 250 yards and 7 TD's rushing.   The TD runs went for 3, 1, 37, 2, 3, 7 and 5 yards each.   The 7 TD's also tied a Scranton Area record (previously accomplished by George Uebler (Wallenpaupack - 1980) and Damon Verton (Western Wayne - 1994).
 
Other DV scores: Andrew Lonsky 18 yard pass from Richie Hearon and Kenny Domzalski 4 yard pass from Josh Navitsky.
 
Prep's Pat Jochum was a star in his performance as well.   Jochum caught 3 TD passes (42, 19 and 20 yards each from Steve Malinchak).  Jochum also had a lond KO return for a TD called back and a 65 yard INT return that fell short of the endzone to end the 1st half.
 
Dean Silvon scored Prep's other TD with an 18 yard run.
 
DV leads the all-time series 2-0.
 
Carbondale (2-3) pulled a close one vs Old Forge (3-2) 8-7. 
 
Zach Lasavage's 2 pt conversion gave Carbondale the win following a Frank Brenzel 4 yard run in the 2nd quarter.
 
Lasavage ended the game with 117 yards rushing.
 
Old Forge scored on a Joey Angeli 4 yard run in the 1st.
 
Brandon Gatto rushed for 151 yards in a losing effort.
 
Dunmore (2-3) knocked off Valley View (3-2) 37-34.  The win marked the 14th time the Bucks have beaten the Cougars - the most ever against Valley View.   Valley View still leads the all-time series 18-14-1.
 
The Bucks were led by Freshmen QB Miller Holmes.  Holmes threw for 281 yards and 2 TD's.  Bryan Zayak caught one TD pass (88 yards) and hauled in 172 yards in receptions.
 
Other Dunmore scores: Holmes (2 TD runs - 1 and 2 yards each), Gatlin Garrett (2 TD runs - 1 yard each) and Craig Zielinski (17 yard pass from Holmes).
 
Valley View scores: Kyle Passeri (5 TD runs and 269 yards rushing).  Passeri scored on runs of 15, 27, 13, 1 and 3 yards.

North Pocono (5-0) broke a scoring record set in a 1971 with their 63-0 shutout of Western Wayne (0-5).   The 63 points broke the Trojans single game scoring record previously set in a 54-24 win over Honesdale in 1971.
 
The Trojans were led by Claude O'Connor who rushed for 202 yards and 4 TD's.  O'Connor scored on runs of 3, 12, 72 and 39 yards.
 
Other NP scores: Joe Richards (2 yard run), Bobby Demeck (1 yard run), Bill Heard (53 yard pass from Richards) and Nick Kennedy (2 TD runs of 10 and 12 yards).
 
Abington Heights (5-0) defeated Lakeland (3-2) 44-6.  Abington was led by Devin Hewlett (125 yards and 1 TD rushing) and Dave Chiavacci (124 yards rushing and two 69 yard TD runs). 
 
Other Comet scores: Jon Cadman (14 yard pass from Jeremy Jayne), Mike Byrne (22 yard FG), Byrne (13 yard pass from Jayne) and Nick Pasqualichio (3 yard run)
 
Lakeland score: Anthony Beston (1 yard run).
 
Lackawanna Trail (3-2) eased by Wallenpaupack (1-4) 42-7.  Josh Dixon led Trail with 156 total yards and 3 TD's (2 rushing and 1 catch).
 
Other Trail scores: Eric Steve (62 yard pass from Colin Dwyer), Bill Clark (2 TD's - 20 and 4 yard runs)
 
Dwyer threw for 215 yards and 2 TD's on the night.
 
JJ Borges rushed for 112 yards in a losing effort.  Sal Zummo scored 'Paupack's TD on a 4 yard pass from Richard Palazzi.
West Scranton (4-1) shutout Riverside (1-4) 31-0.  West was led by Tom Ogonowski who rushed for 110 yards and 2 TD's.  Ogonowski scored on runs of 4 and 64 yards.
 
Matt McGloin added 2 TD passes for West.  The TD throws both went to Asa Lucas (23 and 26 yards).
 
The other West score came from C J Paseri on an 84 yard punt return. 
 
West leads the all-time series 23-18-2.
 
Susquehanna (2-3) held on for a 27-24 win over Bishop O'Hara (4-1).  The Sabers were led by Anthony Dorunda who rushed for 142 yards and 3 TD's.  Dorunda scored on runs of 72, 45 and 37 yards.
 
Other Susquehanna score: Dustin Shaw (27 yard from Dorunda)
 
O'Hara scores: Mike Masko (2 yard run), Alex Williams (37 yard pass fron Sean Madden) and Dom Marino (5 yard pass from Josh Watters).
 
Madden rushed for 174 yards.
 
Mid-Valley (4-1) edged Honesdale (2-3) in OT 33-30.  Mid-Valley was led by Ryan Rempe (203 yards passing, 3 TD passes, 82 yard KO return, 10 yard TD run).  Rempe's TD passes all went to Kyle Cuff (40, 45 and 10 yards).
 
Cuff ended the game with 102 yards receiving.
 
Honesdale scores: Ben Rosa (4 TD runs) - 2, 11, 10 and 1 yard.  Kevin Chapla - 23 yard FG.
 
Rosa ended the game with 203 yards rushing.
