Tyler Hrycak's threw 3 touchdown passes of 41, 2 for 44 and 95 yards to Brandon
Baker (6 completions out of 11 attempts for 216 yards and rushed the ball 13
times for 133 yards to pace the 5th ranked Spartans of St. Marks at 4-1 to a
42-20 victory over the Senators of Dover High. Rashawn Davis also helped the
Spartans to the victory as he carried the ball 19 times for 112 yards along with
2 touchdown runs of 15 and 4. Dover in defeat at 3-2 and 1-0 scored their
points in the fourth quarter as Pierre Foreman scored on a 47 yard touchdown run
along with a 46 yard pass reception from Kamal Abrams.
The 5th ranked Division II Titans of Pencader Charter School at 4-1 on qb
Brandon Norman's 19 yard pass to Emmett Richardson 2 touchdown passes of 60 and
70 yards touchdown pass to Darrell Miller Smith, also ran for touchdown runs of
11 and 48 as they defeated the 3rd ranked Division II at 3-2 Hodgson Silver
Eagles by a 42-21 score. Jamal Jackson led the Silver Eagles with 28 carries
for 156 along with 4 catches for 109 yards along with a touchdown run of 50
yards and 41 yard pass reception from qb Shane Treml.
Keevis Thompson's 6 yard touchdown run with 49 seconds left paced the Wildcats
of Howard at 4-1 overall 1-1 in conference play to a 28-22 over the 4-1 Green
Knights of Mt. Pleasant. Teron Evans rushed for 175 yards along with a 70 yard
touchdown run.
Scott Atkins 129 yards along with 2 touchdown runs of 10 and 5 yards paced the
Cavaliers of Middletown at 4-1 to a 40-32 victory over the Cougars of Delcastle.
Brian Fahey's 30 yard touchdown pass from qb Chris Ambrogi with 4:00 left in the
contest paced the Auks of Archmere at 3-2 to a 13-7 win over the Hornets of
Tatnall School at 3-2 and 1-0.
John Taggert's 3 touchdown runs of 13 and 10 yards along with a 75 yard kickoff
return paced the Quakers of Wilmington Friends at 5-0 to a 49-14 win over Moyer
Academy.
Quadir Bryant's 215 yards and scored 3 touchdown runs of 78, 35 and 7 yards
paced the Spartans of Lake Forest at 3-2 overall and 2-1 overall to a 28-6 win
over the Blue Jays of Seaford at 1-1 in the conference and 3-2 overall.
