Friday Football Report by David A. Willauer 

Games played on Saturday, November 3, 2008:  The Spartans of Lake Forest on Terrence Thorpe's two touchdown runs of 3 and 1 yard as they defeated the Auks of Archmere by a 27-20 score.  The Auks took an early lead at 14-0 as Brian Fahey caught two touchdown passes of 44 and 41 yards from Chris Ambrogi.  Lake Forest scored their first touchdown as Ken Owens scored on a 3 yard run to make the score 14-7.  Joshua Webb scored on a 58 yard run in the third quarter to go within 14-13.  The Auks went ahead 20-13 on Jacob Weaver's 1 yard run but a long kickoff return gave Lake Forest the ball on the Archmere 24 yard line and Terrence Thorp scored on a 3 yard run to tie the game at 20-20.  After Archmere fumbled on their own four yard line Terrence Thorp scored his second touchdown of the day on a 1 yard run to make the final score Lake Forest 27 Archmere 20.

Tailback CJ Wade rushed 11 times for 210 yards scored 3 touchdown runs of 7, 24 and 65 yards paced the Howard Wildcats to a 30-14 victory over the Bulldogs of Brandywine.  AJ Edwards added seven carries for 53 yards and a 1 yard touchdown run. 

QB Erik Wilkerson rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown run of 1 yard along with 74 yards passing and a touchdown pass of 51 yards paced the Highlanders of McKean to a 21-14 victory over the Green Knights of Mt. Pleasant.

Jamil Jackson scored two touchdown runs one on a kickoff return for 90 yards along with a 15 yard run rushed for 105 yards paced the Hodgson Silver Eagles to a 47-8 victory over the Rams of Dickinson.

Charter QB Adam Weiner passed for 137 yards threw 2 touchdown passes of 26 and 19 yards as they defeated the Tigers of Alexis I DuPont by a 12-7 score.

In a battle of unbeatens, Ryan Procaccini scored three touchdowns rushed 186 yards on 25 carries paced the Quakers of Wilmington Friends at 9-0 to a 28-26 victory over Red Lion Christian.  With 6:14 left in the game, Red Lion at 7-1 scored their last touchdown as QB Francis Drummond 18 completions out of 34 attempts for 276 yards threw a 28 yard pass to Tommy Lenoir 8 catches for 128 yards, the two point conversion failed and Friends prevailed with the win.  Ben Crescenzo had four catches for 97 yards for Red Lion. 

The Cavaliers of Middletown at 6-3 on Kenny Anderson's 8 completions out of 13 attempts for 206 yards, 11 carries for 84 yards,  threw an 11 yard pass to Corbin Daviston with 31 seconds left in the first quarter along with a 7 yard touchdown run along with Michael Johnson's 6 yard run defeated the Sals of Salesianum at 4-5 by a 20-6 score.

Darrell Miller-Smith 10 carries on 211 yards receiving scored four touchdown pass receptions of 12 yards, 17 yards, 58 yards  and the game winner a 33 yarder from qb Malik White 24 completions out of 43 attempts for 350 yards paced the Titans of Pencader Charter at 7-2 overall and 5-1 in the conference to a 41-39 victory over the Concord Raiders.   Concord 8-2 overall and 5-1 in the conference
