Big 33 Pennsylvania Coaching Staff and Team Announced

The Pennsylvania Football Coaches Association has named Tim Janocko, the head coach of Clearfield High School, as the head coach of the 2009 PNC Big33 Pennsylvania High School All-Star football team that will play Ohio on June 20th, 2009 at Hersheypark Stadium.

 

The Association also appointed five other head coaches to assist Janocko.  They are Assistant Coach Frank Gay, Red Land; Glen McNamee, Central Dauphin; Mike Ricci, Garnet Valley; Jim Wells, General Mclane; and Brian Fluck, West Catholic.  Attached is the most up to date PA Roster.  The Pennsylvania team will be introduced at the PA Governor’s Mansion in Harrisburg on February 16th at 10:30 AM.

 

Founded in 1957, The Big 33 Scholarship Foundation had since provided 3,288 academic scholarships to college-bound students.  The Big 33 is the producer of the annual PNC Big 33 football Classic.  The nationally acclaimed and televised PNC Big 33 Football Classic has provided at least one player in each NFL Super Bowl Roster since the Super Bowl was founded.  Currently the Big 33 has representation on 11 of the 12 NFL 2008 playoff teams.  Our philosophy is to make sure the PNC Big 33 Football Classic is much more than just a game.  We institute and build activities around events involving Big 33 players, Big 33 Cheerleaders, buddies, host families & scholarship winners.  The Organization’s primary mission is to showcase excellence in youth.
