PFN All-Academic Nomination

Criteria:

1. Student is a sophomore, junior or senior
2. A minimum cumulative of GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). NOTE: MUST convert all GPAs to a 4.0 scale.
3. Football player must have played in at least half of the games your team has played this season.
4. Completed application must arrive by deadline (Feb 1, 2007) with signatures and school seal.
5. Transcript sent by guidance counselor and attach to nomination form.

Cumulative GPA MUST be converted to a 4.0 scale.

Do NOT submit percentages or weighted courses.

An A= 4.0, a B= 3.0; a C = 2.0; and a D= 1.0

Calculate quality points x credits earned per course, adding all credit courses then divided by total credits earned.

Should your school have weighted courses, the counselor must do the computation manually and apply.

A football player with a 4.0 would have all “A” grades on his transcript as final grades from 9th grade through the last semester.

Applications without transcripts or conversions will NOT be considered or accepted.
