We are looking for teams to participate in the:

Williamson Jr. High Wrestling Tournament

Participating teams: Mansfield, Coudersport, Bucktail, Sayre, Sullivan Co., Towanda, Troy, Wellsboro, and Williamson

Date:         1-16-10

Weigh-ins:          8:00AM

Start Time:        9:15AM

Entry Fee:          $150 made Payable to Williamson Athletics

Format:    6-man Round Robin Brackets. 

We will try to get all wrestlers 5 matches.  If we have more than 6 wrestlers in one class then we will break up the class into two groups and cross pool the two groups to get a champion in each weight.  Example:  If there are 10 wrestlers in a class we will make two groups of 5.  The winners from each pool will cross-pools to get their fifth match.  Second place finishers in each pool will cross-pools and wrestle each other and so on.

Brackets will be made on Friday night, Jan.15.   To start on time all wrestlers and their weights will need to be faxed to us by Thursday, January 14^th by 6:00PM.  All wrestlers must be sent to me prior to the event.  There will be no added wrestlers on Saturday.  (Fax # is on the next page)

Team Points:

Each school may enter more than one wrestler per wt. class.

Only one wrestler can earn team points for their team in each weight class.

Team Points:                 First Place = 5 Points

                                    Second Place = 4 Points

                                    Third Place = 3 Points

                                    Fourth Place = 2 Points

                                    Fifth Place = 1 Point

Awards:             

First and Second place team trophies will be awarded.

Wt. Class winners will be awarded a tournament champion T-Shirt.
