Northwestern Lehigh's Evan Yenolevich ( Sr - 125 lbs ) won his fourth consecutive D XI AA Gold medal yesterday. His pin in the semifinal round, gave him 160 career wins and 100 career PINS. With his 5 - 0 victory in the final, he now has 161 wins.

 

Evan Yenolevich ( Sr. 125 pounder ) set Northwestern Lehigh's school record for wins last week with 153. He now has 154. He is a three time D XI champion and finished second at States the last two years. He has committed to attend Edinboro.

 

Steve Powell of Easton got his 400th win on January 3rd, he is currently at 403 and Tony Iasello of Bethlehem Catholic is #2 on the D11 list at 405 wins. Ray Nunamaker is #1 with 468  wins. (Randy Maynard)

Corry recorded their 500th victory @ the KSA duals in Florida.  Corry began wrestling in 1956-57 season.

Michael Pollard recorded his 61st true fall on Sat. @ the Tool City tournament. Also holds single season record for Corry @ 28 last season has 15 this year and is 17-1
Jake Kondrlik recorded his 50th true fall @ Tool City. Is 22-1 this season.

Pius X defeated Bangor 39-30 to earn the school's 300th wrestling victory.

The General McLane High School Wrestling Program secured it's 450th dual meet win on December, 17th, 2008 over Conneaut Lake. 

The McLane wrestling program was initiated by Gary Gilbert in 1961 and has an overall record of 450 wins - 226 losses.  (Don Goss- contributor)
