Senior Tyler Leljedal of Towanda recorded his 132nd career victory on Saturday, February 11th, 2006 -- a 6-4 decision over Northeast Bradford's Ethan Laudermilch. The win set a new Towanda High School record for career wins, surpassing the total of 131 set by 1996 graduate Jeremy Sluyter, now an assistant coach with the team.

Towanda Coach Bill Sexton ended the regular season with 399 career victories after a 27-5 mark in 2005-2006.

Ridgway won their 500th recently.  They started the program in 1963-64.

Milton won their 500th dual meet on Feb. 7th, 2006 with a 51-25 win over Mifflinburg.

Trintity went over the 700-win mark in their team history this season with a 10-6 dual meet record. A January 14 win over Waynesburg gave them #700. They are now 701-238-9 since the program started in 1932. 

Chartiers-Houston notched team win #600 this season despite having a sub-par 5-10 season.

Latrobe also achieved a special feat earning their 500th win with a 53-13 win over Indiana on January 25th.

Vince Testa picked up his 200th career coaching win at Penn-Trafford this season.

Jim Clark (Chestnut Ridge) won his 300th coaching victory 1/10/06.  He also passed Bill Creps (Bedford) for the most wins (305) by a wrestling coach in Bedford County on 1/21/06 at the Richland Duals.

 

Brandywine Heights coach Sam Lovello got his 400th win January 18th. In 28 years at Brandywine and two at Wilson his career record his 400-151-4.

 

Ridgway's Gary Gerber achieved his 300th career victory as Ridgway's Head Wrestling Coach. His overall record stands at 300-66 as of January 17, 2006.

 

Shikellamy's win over Central Dauphin East recently have the Braves their 500th win as a program.  The score was 36-25. Shik's overall record now stands at 500-178-8.

Marion Center won their 300th dual meet on January 5th over Berlin Brothersvalley. Congratulations to the Stingers.

 

Juniata won their 500th on Saturday December 17, 2005. Congrats to Coach Bobby Hart and all of the Juniata teams and coaches.
