Jim Thorpe has openings for their Christmas Tournament which will be held on Thursday, December, 29th, 2016
at Jim Thorpe Area High School. This tournament will be an individual 16 man bracketed tournament and will be worth
3 competition points. We will accept as many teams as possible. There will be JV matches as well. Please contact

Wyalusing High School as an opening in their dual meet tournament scheduled for opening weekend, Saturday
December 10, 2016. The tournament has a mix of district 4 and district 2 schools.

York Suburban Is looking for junior high and varsity teams for a individual round robin tournament to be held
on 12/17/16 or 1/21/17. It will be worth 3 points and kids should get 4-5 matches. It is an unique opportunity for
your school to have both levels wrestle at once. The date will be determined based on the interest. The cost will
be $300 per team or $500 for both.

Ephrata High School has openings for their 2016 Ephrata Duals on 12/10. Committed teams currently are Ephrata,
Hempfield (D3), Downingtown East, Biglerville, and Reading. We would like to get back to 8 teams and wrestle 5

Athens (District-4 AA) has an opening in their tournament on December 17th. This is twelve team, individual,
pooled event where each kid gets five matches. We start in four pools of three with the winners wrestling only
winners for the last three matches. This allows to best to wrestle the best while your less experienced kids get
to wrestle kids of their ability as well, based upon placement in the pool. We try to bring in kids from several
areas so you get to see kids you normally would not. We currently have teams from Sections IV, V & VI in NY,
Districts 2 & 4 in Pa, as well as a team from Maine. Last year we had 55 kids place at their state qualifier, 27
kids wrestle at states, 19 state medalists, and 3 state champs (all are back).

Next season our First Dual Meet Tournament is going to be on Saturday January 7th, 2017. It is going to be an 6-12 team

The Coal Cracker tournament will be held Jan 27 & 28, 2017@ Panther Valley HS & MS. This will be a 3pt individually
bracketed tournament. We will wrestle out to 8 places. Last year we had 16 teams and are looking to get to at least 20 teams.
We were out of the gym on Saturday by 4:00 this year. We will be running 8 mats and will be having a JV tournament on
Saturday. The JV tourney had 125 entrants in 2016. T Anyone eliminated on Friday night will be allowed into the JV tournament

The 9th Annual Elite Opener at Skyline High School (Virginia) will take place on December 3rd, 2016. This tournament features
many of the best wrestlers and best teams from VA and surrounding states in a double pool format that gives every
wrestler 5 matches and a few competitive matches throughout the day regardless of skill level. Your best wrestlers will
be challenged.
Each year 4 spots in this tournament are open to new teams. Please fill out the application if you are interested in
opening your season with some tough competition. The application deadline is March 31st and the committee will
select teams by April 15th.

Conestoga Valley H.S. – Lancaster, PA – District III: Has openings for schools interested in competing in the
16th Annual Conestoga Valley Holiday Wrestling Classic to be held December 29th & 30th of 2016. This is a
competitive 25 team tournament that includes a separate JV tournament for your entire squad. Preferential
