2013 Mountaineer Duals Invitation
Hosted by Berlin Brothersvalley High School 1025 East Main St. Berlin, PA 15530
Our plan is to find 9 other varsity teams along with Berlin to make (2) 5 Team pools, wrestling in 2 gyms.
These teams will then compete against the other 4 teams in their pool and then will be placed by pool finish for the placement matches.
Pool A (1st) vs. Pool B (1st) for Championship, Pool A (2nd) vs. Pool B (2nd) for 3rd and 4th Honors, etc.
We will do everything possible to keep common opponents in separate pools. We will run 4 mats, 2 in each gym, each team will have 1 round off.
The Mountaineer Duals will be held Saturday January 19, 2013.
Entry fee $200.00 A one day - 3 point duals tournament Exact Times TBD. Am Start.
Overnight Accommodations available within 10 miles in Somerset, PA.
Berlin facility will be open Friday evening for team practices for out of the area teams.
We will also offer the opportunity to wrestle JV exhibition matches.

Phoenixville, District I AAA is in need of team for the Phoenixville Invitational on Saturday 1/5/13. It is a 2 point, 8 team bracketed tournament that wrestles all the way out to 8th place. We will also be hosting a full JV tournament. Teams already committed are: Annville Cleona, Unionville, York Tech, Oley Valley, Twin Valley, and Schulkill Haven. be hosting their annual Battle for the Helmet Duals on June 23, 2012.
Grades K-8. Cost is $300 and each team will wrestle 4-5 matches. Winning
team gets authentic engraved Viking helmet. Custom awards for 2nd and

Northern Lebanon will be hosting a dual meet tournament the
opening Saturday next season (December 8). Six-team round robin with
each team wrestling five matches. Cost is $250, and custom awards given

2012 Mustang Duals Midd-West needs 1 team. A team just dropped out, the teams are Halifax, Williams Valley, Montgomery, Schulylkill Haven, Northern Lebanon, Elk Lake.. MOUNT UNION HIGH SCHOOL is looking to host a tournament next season. We are open to whether it will be an individual tournament or a dual meet tournament. Whichever it is, this will be cut off at a 3 point tournament. Dates that are available are January 12th and January 26th. We will run the tournament on the date that we get the most interest on. District 1’s PA SE Classic- Perkiomen Valley will be hosting the 2012 SE Wrestling Classic on Dec. 7 and 8. The 2012 Tournament will be a two-day individual tournament that will count as 3 competition points. The SE Classic also includes a Junior Varsity Event as well. Teams included for next year’s Classic include Great Valley, Father Judge, North Penn, Wissahickon, Perkiomen Valley, Germantown Academy, William Tennent, Exeter, Honesdale, Plymouth Whitemarsh, Spring-Ford, WC Henderson, Strath Haven, and Radnor. Salisbury High School, Allentown, PA is looking for teams interested in participating in the 1st Annual Falcon Duals to be held on Saturday February 9, 2013. The tournament would be worth 3 points and each team would be guaranteed 5 matches. We are currently looking for 5 teams. 2013 LINE MOUNTAIN DUALS
Lee-Davis (Virginia) high school seeks a Head Wrestling Coach. Team returns most of a starting lineup that was Capitol District Champions this year. Established and winning middle school program along with highly successful youth wrestling program already in place. Motivated returning members interested in off-season competition, camps, etc. looking for invested coach to take the 6x Regional Team Champion program back to dominating the Central Region and beyond.
Candidate would also be able to choose assistants as well as retain those already on staff.

Ephrata is looking for one school for the 2012 Ephrata Duals on December 8th. Everyone will get 5 duals and the competition is worth 3 points. Participating schools are Ephrata, Garden Spot, Lebanon, Hempfield (D3), Reading, Daniel Boone, Downingtown East, Mifflin County, and Biglerville. Warrior Run will host a tournament for Junior high and Varsity wrestlers who win about half of their matches after taking off forfeits. The date is Sunday, March 18th. The form is attached. We will also have a Division for Girls Only. There will be elementary brackets also. It’s a good opportunity for your average wrestler to compete with equal competition.
