Dear Coach,

We are looking for several more teams to participate in the 1st Annual Junior High Wildcat Wrestling Tournament to be held on Saturday December 27th, 2003 (next season).

The format will be an eight-team individual tournament. The tournament will be wrestled on three mats following a double elimination format including 5th and 7th place matches. All wrestlers are guaranteed a minimum of 3 bouts (with the exception of forfeits). Individual awards will be given to the top 3 place winners in each weight class, as well as to the outstanding wrestler of the tournament. Trophies will also be awarded to the top two teams.

Seeding will be done by tournament officials using last years Jr. High record, places in JW States or places in MAWA. The tournament fee will be $125 per team.
This is an excellent opportunity to get the wrestlers mat experience early in the season.
