The unit consists of: A queen sized bed in bedroom and a full sized fold-out in living room........1 & 1/2 baths.......full kitchen facilities.....a small deck with a partial view of ocean....that deck is on 3rd level so there are steps to climb......above-ground pool at rear of building....parking beneath and behind building...it is ocean view, cross small street and you are on the beach. We rent from Sat. (check in after 2:00 PM) to Sat.(check out by 10:00 AM) Nice unit with great price. You need to bring linens/sheets. We have VCR/TV, coffeemaker, toaster, etc.

YES, we are THAT close.. not ocean front but ocean view from our 3rd level balcony :-)  

Directions to Carolina Beach, NC.. from Route 80 (Central Pennsylvania)

From I-80.. take Routes 11-15 through Harrisburg, PA..
Continue on Route 15 through Frederick, Maryland and to Warrenton, VA.
At Warrenton, take 15/29 South to Route 17.. this takes you to Fredricksburg, VA .. (about a 5-hour trip from the Haven)
This is where you pick up I-95 South.. which takes you to Richmond..
Just before Richmond, however, take I-295 South (to avoid the city).. You will get back on I-95 South at Petersburg, VA.. total distance is about 365 miles.
This is the usual stop for overnight..

Stay on I-95.. you go by Rocky Mount, NC.. down to Four Oaks, NC..
Here, you will pick up I-40 (510-mile mark). I-40 takes you directly into Wilmington, NC.. just 17 miles from our condo in Carolina Beach.
As you cross the Snow's Cut Bridge (over the Inland Coastal Waterway)
Travel about a half-mile.. to the red light.. turn left just before McDonalds and a Citgo gas station..
You will see big boats docked on your left. Turn left on Canal Street (another traffic light is here).. drive about a mile till you see Sandfiddler Street.. turn right.. and one block on your left.
Voila!!! You made it!!! 

Rental directly from the owners is:

 June - July - August =  $505 per week
        
             September - May =  $425 per week (or $100 per day)
              (Must rent for minimum of 4 days)
